The Burnhams Surgery - Flu Vaccination Clinics:–

This year’s Flu Vaccination Clinics will be held on Thursday 4th October 2018 and Tuesday 9th October 2018 between the hours of 11:00 am and 3:30 pm at The Burnham Surgery.

The Clinics are open to all Registered patients over 65 years of age or patients who have the following:–

  • Diabetes
  • Heart disease
  • Lung disease
  • Liver and/or Kidney disease
  • Pregnant or a Registered Carer
  • Lower Immune system due to disease or treatment
  • Neurological disease such as Parkinson’s or Motor Neurone Disease.

No appointments are necessary to attend the Flu Clinics.

Stanhoe Wine Tasting Event:–

This Iberian Themed Charity Wine Tasting is in aid of the Reading Rooms and Village Hall

‘The Guernsey Literary & Potato Peel Pie Society’ (12A) (Drama/History/Romance) on Wednesday 17th October at 7:30pm

A writer (Lily James) forms an unexpected bond with the residents of Guernsey Island in the aftermath of World War 11, when she decides to write a book about their experiences during the war. Adapted from the novel by Annie Barrows and Mary Ann Shaffer, the director Mike Newell weaves together a richly layered film that is uplifting, moving and delightful.

The incredible story of amateur sailor Donald Crowhurst and his solo attempt to circumnavigate the globe. The struggles he confronted on the journey while his family awaited his return is one of the most enduring mysteries of recent times. Starring Colin Firth and Rachel Weisz.

Tuesday 9th October:– Roger Hance FRPS AFIAP BPE5* presents ‘The law of Averages’.

This should be a very special evening. Visitors welcome. Admission £5 to include refreshments.
