Our Flower Show on Saturday 3rd August is fast approaching. The growing season may be late, but we are still hoping for a good display of vegetables and flowers from our keen gardeners. Spare schedules are available too.

And finally:-

According to the Project Britain website:-

“July is one of the hottest months of the year” – I hope they are right this year :-)

But:-

–If the first of July it be rainy weather,
Twill rain more or less for four weeks together’ – Oh dear! ;-(

However we can look forward to various events:-

These including Henley Royal Regatta, Swan Upping (the annual census on the River Thames when swans are counted & marked on a 70 mile, 5 day journey up the river) and Honiton Fair in Devon

I’m choosing to ignore the 15th – St Swithin’s Day – enough has been said about the weather!!
