October film

The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society is showing in Stanhoe on 17 October.

Stanhoe Village Screen begins its autumn season with The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society (12A) (drama /history/romance) on Wednesday 17 October.

A writer (Lily James) forms an unexpected bond with the residents of the island of Guernsey in the aftermath of WWII, when she decides to write a book about their experiences during the war. It is uplifting, moving and utterly delightful!
