Overnight Road Closure

Overnight Road Closure - Stanhoe Crossroads

Overnight road closure on B1454 / B1155 Stanhoe crossroads for carriageway resurfacing

Work will begin on Friday 19 October to carry out major carriageway resurfacing works on B1454 / B1155 junction at Stanhoe. To minimise disruption on this busy road the work is being carried out overnight and will take one night to complete subject to suitable weather conditions.

The site will include each 30 metre approach to the crossroads.

During the resurfacing works it will be necessary to close the road to all through traffic at this location. Fully signed official diversion routes along roads of the same or higher classification will be in operation between 7.00pm and 6.00am on the night.

Vehicle access to businesses and properties within the limits of the closure will be maintained from one end at all times. Pedestrian access will be maintained while work is underway.

The County Council would like to thank people for their patience while these works to replace the existing worn out road surface are carried out.

The work which will cost £51,000 will be carried out by Norfolk County Council’s Community & Environmental Services Department and their contractors.
