Event success

Nic Hopkins thanks charity wine tasters.

Following the charity wine tasting held on 21 April to celebrate Earth Day and St George’s Day, co-organiser Nic Hopkins writes:

“17 of us got great enjoyment from the wines presented, Kate’s delicious buffet and the convivial company of friends and neighbours at the Village Hall.”

“Feedback was very positive, so perhaps next year we shall repeat.”

“Kate and I are delighted at the enjoyment shared and proud that including some generous donations the event contributed £144.58 to the Mary Esther Hollway Memorial Trust funds for the benefit of the splendid refurbished Village Hall!”
