Wine tasting

Don’t miss Stanhoe’s wine tasting event on 21 April.

Stanhoe’s next wine tasting on Saturday 21 April celebrates both Earth Day (22 April) and St George’s Day (23 April).

Come along to the Reading Room to try interesting wines for spring and summer in the company of friends and neighbours.

Up for tasting will be an English sparkling wine, two still whites and three contrasting reds, presented by your volunteer amateur wine guides Nic Hopkins, Kate Jewell and friends. There will also be a simple but plentiful home-prepared buffet.

Early booking is essential, so please tell Nic and Kate by 9 April at the latest if you’d like to come. Tickets are £16 each from  (tel 07785 387683), Lavender Cottage, Cross Lane, Stanhoe.

All profits will go to the Reading Room.
