Waste Collection - Update

Waste collection update following recent bad weather.

Waste and recycling collections that were due to take place in the areas listed below on Wednesday 28 February and Thursday 1 March will take place on Friday 2 March (weather permitting).  Waste and recycling collections in these areas that were due to take place on Friday 2 March, will take place on Monday 5 March.  Side waste in these areas will not be accepted.  Please leave bins out ready for collection.

North and South Wootton

Fairstead

Grange and Wootton Road

Springwood

Gaywood

South Lynn

North Lynn

Loke Road

Friars

Tennyson Road

Trade Waste in King’s Lynn

Rest of west Norfolk

Any collections that were due on Wednesday 28 February, Thursday 1 and Friday 2 March will not take place.  This waste or recycling will be collected as soon as possible over the next week.  Please leave bins ready for collection as specific days and times cannot be given.  Anyone needing additional recycling sacks may request them by contacting 01553 776676.  Small amounts of side waste will be collected.

Isolated rural locations

There are about 500 properties that are served individually.  Unfortunately, it will not be possible to catch up on missed collections in these areas.  Waste or recycling will be collected on the next scheduled collection date.  Side waste will be accepted.  Anyone requiring recycling sacks can request them by contacting 01553 776676.

Garden Waste

All garden waste collections are suspended until further notice.  Please take garden bins back in.  Compostable garden waste sacks will be provided upon request, should they be needed for additional waste.
