Strike three

Ivy Farm demolition continues.

Level ground with foundation trenches

30 September: foundations of the new house under way

North range gone, and only part of the south range left

22 September: not much left standing

One end of the north range removed, leaving the bulk of the building standing

21 September: demolition work begins in earnest

Demolition work at Ivy Farm is well under way in preparation for the new house which is to be built on the site. Staff from Norfolk Landscape Archaeology have been on site to check for any interesting building features revealed inside the structure.
