    I think this could be a missing link in our family tree. John, in the picture, is also my great-great-grandfather. Research showed that his eldest son was called John and that he moved away. No further was known about him until John (senior) 's will where John (junior) is mentioned. It would be great to fill in the gap.

    This man was (I think) my great-great-grandfather. Did he originally come from Elveden in Suffolk? My great-grandfather's name was John as well. He left home as soon as he was able and moved to London. He never went back to Stanhoe to see his mother until his father died.
