Miggie Calver (23 years old) and her nephew Dick Calver (9 years old), photographed in the garden of the old farmhouse at Station Farm, Stanhoe in 1932.

Chris Branch says in 2011:

The dilapidated flint stone wall was part of Grandfather’s garage, and also the side of the bullock shed. The doorway over Miggie’s left shoulder led to the only family dry loo (in use until about 1965), where Tom and Edith and their 8 children, plus Dick, spent many solitary hours, maybe reading the torn pieces of the EDP which hung there on a nail!
