Gressenhall Farm Museum and Workhouse has everything imaginable to do with farming. Outside the Workhouse I could not resist opening the car door to smell that warmed-leather interior – sheer nostalgia!

This MG 8 is being restored by its current owner, who had it on display. Except for its red leather upholstery, number plate and MG badge on the radiator, this could be me getting back into Granddad (Tom) Calver’s car, as mentioned elswhere in this Station Farm album and shown on a postcard of Burham Market in the 1950s.
