Walks and bike rides around Stanhoe

Looking for a walk around Stanhoe?

We have various “Parish Walks”; for the moment, look for these on the map board near the phone box, opposite the main pond.

The County Council’s Norfolk Trails website has a choice of circular walks, plus long-distance paths and a few routes for horses and bikes.

Our local long-distance path is the Peddars Way and Norfolk Coast Path.

The Ordnance Survey maps covering this area are Explorer 250 and 251 (1:25,000) and Landranger 132 (1:50,000).

Cycling around Stanhoe

Our cycling routes map has a few ideas for mountain biking along the green lanes between Stanhoe and South Creake:

The map also shows a route north of Stanhoe via Station Road: a good quiet way to get to Brancaster or Burnham Market. The Brancaster route is rough in parts (along the old airfield track), but can be ridden on a touring bike.
