Parish Meeting

Speeding tops discussion at the Parish Council’s annual presentation.

11 May saw a reasonably well-attended annual Parish Meeting. Most of the councillors attended, as did a number of Stanhoe residents.

Stanhoe villagers in the Reading Room

There was plenty of animated conversation, a large amount of which was on the old and thorny subject of speeding in the village, as the Parish Council was asking for residents to express their views on several proposals for improving the situation.

David Lord (chairman) gave a brief address, and all participants enjoyed snack food and generous quantities of wine, along with the greatly enhanced ambience of the newly refurbished Reading Room.
