Waste amnesty

Get rid of unwanted paint, weedkiller and other nasties on 10, 11, 17 and 18 September.

Norfolk County Council is holding a series of weekend hazardous waste disposal amnesties in September. You can use the opportunity to dispose of wood preservatives, pesticides, weedkiller, paint, thinners, varnishes and special cleaning products.

The two weekends of most interest to Stanhoe residents are:

  • 10–11 September: King’s Lynn Recycling Centre, Willows Business Park, Saddlebow PE34 3RD.
  • 17–18 September: Hempton Recycling Centre, Helhoughton Road, Fakenham NR21 7DY.

The recycling centres will be open from 9 am to 5 pm.
