WI beats five other teams to quiz victory.

A successful Stanhoe village quiz on 21 March saw six teams taking part, including visitors from Bircham and Docking. Judith Lough was quizmistress.

The WI Wizards team emerged as the winners, with a score of 63 out of a possible 100 possible points. “It was a tough one,” said team member Pamela Austin.

A WI team has won the spring quiz in 2003, 2005, 2007, and now 2009. “We do give others a chance to win every other year!” Pamela says.

“There was something fishy about the way the WI marked our answers,” said Syd Turner. “We wuz robbed.”
