End of an era

Regulars and locals packed into the Crown Inn on Saturday 29 November to mark the retirement of Page Clowser and to thank him for his 25 years’ service as landlord. Wendy Eckersley is also leaving the Crown and will be much missed.

The Crown serves its last meals this Sunday, after which it will open for drinks until 11 December, when Page moves to his new home in Snettisham.

The Crown will then close for refurbishment until Easter.
