Tide tables

Tidal predictions for:

King’s Lynn

Hunstanton

Burnham Overy Staithe

Wells

Cromer

Above are links to 7-day tide predictions (tables and graphs) from Admiralty EasyTide, and an illustration of the current moon phase.

All the tide times are GMT/UTC, so remember to add one hour during the summer (you can use the “Daylight saving” button on the EasyTide page to do this).

Low tide at Burnham Overy Staithe

Don’t get left high and dry:
low tide at Burnham Overy Staithe

During very high tides (7 metres or so), the car parks at Burnham Overy and especially Thornham (the Coal Barn) will flood, so check the times and don’t get caught out.

The highest high tides and the lowest lows, known as “spring tides”, happen a day or so after each full moon.

If you get into trouble on the coast, or spot anyone who appears to need help, phone 999 and ask for the Coastguard. The Hunstanton Coastguard incidents log makes interesting reading.
