We have various “Parish Walks”; for the moment, look for these on the map board near the phone box, opposite the main pond.
The Norfolk Countryside website shows around 75 circular walks in Norfolk, plus long-distance paths and a few routes for horses and bikes. The nearest of the circular walks to Stanhoe are Brancaster, the Burnhams and Ringstead.Our local long-distance path is the Peddars Way and Norfolk Coast Path.
The Ordnance Survey maps covering this area are Explorer 250 and 251 (1:25,000) and Landranger 132 (1:50,000).

Cycling around Stanhoe

The map also shows a route north of Stanhoe via Station Road: a good quiet way to get to Brancaster or Burnham Market. The Brancaster route is rough in parts (along the old airfield track), but can be ridden on a touring bike.
